Create your own Natural Moisturizer with Turmeric Essential Oil & Aloe Vera

Would you like to get the benefits of turmeric for your skin but without the yellow stain and the greasiness of oils? Here’s a quick recipe for creating your own moisturiser--nourishing food for your skin!

Use the non-staining Parama Naturals Turmeric Essential Oil with any carrier of your choice to create your own moisturizer at home.

Turmeric essential oil is rich in the antioxidant Turmerones, which act on every layer of your skin to not just clear blemishes, clarify the skin tone and slow down signs of ageing, but also to protect, heal and nourish it from within.

The best carriers are food-grade cold-pressed natural oils or butters which are themselves rich in minerals and anti-oxidants. But if you don't like carrier oils despite their benefits because of their 'oiliness',  then use any carrier of your choice. You can mix in Aloe gel, yoghurt, milk cream, butter, oats or even fruit pulp like papaya.

Steps to create your own natural moisturizer:

  • Take one tablespoon of Aloe Vera gel or any other carrier of your choice.
  • Add 2 drops of Turmeric Essential Oil.
  • Mix it well, and your natural moisturizer is ready!
  • Apply gently on preferably moist or damp skin to help absorb it completely.
  • You can also add it to rose water or plain water and spray on your face as a moisturizing face mist.

Can anything be simpler than that? The above process takes just 2 minutes of your time and you reap the innumerable benefits of a pure, chemical-free natural moisturizer.

Do try this out and let us know if you do in the comments section.
